Transformers 3, Pain & Gain, Bad Boys 3

Nelson here...

I spoke to Michael today and he had a little update on his future projects:
  • He will be meeting later this week with Steven Spielberg, and Ehren Kruger to discuss ideas for Transformers 3. By the end of the week he should have an idea if Transformers 3 will hit your local cineplex in the summer of 2011 or 2012.
  • In the meantime "Pain & Gain" is looking very possible as is...
  • ...Bad Boys 3. Either film coming to a theater near you before or after Transformers 3.

The Crew Letter

I don’t condone the crew letter to Megan. And I don’t condone Megan’s outlandish quotes. But her crazy quips are part of her crazy charm. The fact of the matter I still love working with her, and I know we still get along. I even expect more crazy quotes from her on Transformers 3.

Revenge of The Box Office

Nelson here...

Revenge of the Fallen has now crossed the $400 million mark at the box office and $830 million worldwide. Many thanks to all the fans!

Also, Variety reports:

Summer revenues topped out at an estimated $4.31 billion through Monday, up 4% over summer 2007, the previous recordholder at $4.16 billion. Admissions were essentially even with summer 2008. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" and "Up" topped the summer chart.
